Oceanography and climate project

Measuring ice sheets for the benefit of whalers - while studying oceanography and climate at CU Boulder I looked into whether satellites were a sufficient way to estimate ice thickness on the northern coast of Alaska. This is important for villagers who traverse the ice to hunt. You can view my presentation here.
